About Us
Our Mission and Values

Our mission is to bring together international school students through esports, fostering teamwork, digital literacy, and healthy competition in a supportive, inclusive global community. We empower students to grow as leaders, collaborators, and innovators by providing high-quality events, training, and opportunities to connect across cultures.
We envision a world where esports naturally expands tech knowledge, and serves as a bridge between diverse learners, inspiring meaningful cross-cultural friendships and personal growth. By championing integrity, sportsmanship, and educational excellence, we aim to become the leading platform for youth to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The Games We Play
We carefully choose the games that we play in our esports league so that they incorporate all of our requirements.
Game selection is done in August each year, in discussion with participating schools, incorporating advice from esports professionals, who give input on broader industry trends. This allows for adequate time for each school to create a team and practise the planned games.
01
Age Appropriate
We refer to PEGI ratings, ERSB ratings, and the ratings in app stores to assess whether they are age appropriate for use in our league. All players must meet the minimum age required for each game.
02
No First-Person Shooter Games
As a scholastic esports league, we do not teach first-person shooter games. There are many other types of titles used in esports that are both fun and challenging.
03
Actual Esports Games
The games that we choose to do are all ones that are played in the real esports professional world! This is so our students can see a path to higher level competitive play if this suits them.
04
Team and Individual Skills
We include a mix of team games and single-player games so that students can hone their communication and teamwork skills, as well as logic at speed and game mechanics.
05
Fun and Challenging
While we aim to have students become stronger esports players, we do also wish that students find the games we play fun and enjoy the challenge in each.

Divisions
ISEC League currently offers esports game play and competition for students from 9-18 years old. Players are allocated by skill level, with age also considered.
Our seasons run from August to November, December to February, and March to June. Each includes seasonal game play, ending in an in-person multi-school tournament.
